Founding the Predecessor of LOTUXS
The origins of LOTUXS LASER LIMITED trace back to DARMOPTIK GMBH, founded in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company initially specialized in developing medical-grade equipment for professional clinics while simultaneously researching the first-generation home-use 810nm laser hair removal device, marking the beginning of LOTUXS’s commitment to solutions for both clinical professionals and everyday consumers.
2011 – The Birth of LOTUXS
Founded by Dr. Yang Lin, LOTUXS LASER LIMITED officially entered the beauty technology market, ushering in a new era of innovation.
2012 – First-Generation Home Laser Device
LOTUXS introduced its first 810nm home-use laser hair removal device, becoming one of only two companies worldwide—and the first in China—to earn U.S. FDA certification for an at-home OCT laser hair removal device.
2015 – Recognition in Innovation
In 2018, SILKPRO, a subsidiary brand of LOTUXS, was named one of the top ten innovative beauty technology brands in Asia.
2020 – iF International Design Award
In April 2020, LOTUXS received an honorary mention in the iF Product Design Award, one of the world’s top three design awards.
2022 – Celebrity-Endorsed Light Therapy Bed
LOTUXS developed the full-body red and near-infrared light therapy bed used by Kylie Jenner for post-workout recovery.
